Intonaurmori Performance at the Vancouver Art Gallery

I had the pleasure of performing with some Intonaurmori at the Vancouver Art Gallery this week. This was a part of the galleries current show MashUp. It was quite a bit of fun to experiment with Luigi Russolo’s Noisy Dream Instrument.

It was also amazing to work with these wonderful folks! Kıvanç Tatar, Alex Spence, Alex Mah, Ben Wylie, and Rebecca Bruton.

Weekly Intonarumori Sound Performances / Martin Gotfrit & guest musicians
Located in the Gallery, 4East

Join Martin Gotfrit, Professor at Simon Fraser University, and guest musicians for a weekly activation of the intonarumori every Tuesday evening in April. The intonarumori are a group of experimental musical instruments created by the Italian futurist Luigi Russolo in the early 1900s. Local artists bring these instruments to life with casual, improvisational performances.
